Those powerplays were powerless. Allowing Ingolstadt to take short handed shot (and one goal) on our powerplay is inexcusable. \r\n\r\nThe game was entertaining but Mannheim just couldn't connect on anything. Ingolstadt was faster and they didn't seem to hold and stand around with the puck like Mannheim did. There were way too many turn overs and giveaways in the neurtral zone. Felix could only bail them out so many times....

what power-plays? The Adler have not had a power-play in a long long time. By us it is an extra man dis-advantage instead of a man-advantage. I worry more when we are on the power-play then I do when we are on the penalty-kill. Like you said there is no excuse for it.\r\n\r\nI am getting ready to jump soundly and loudly on the new trainer band wagon.

\r\n\r\nAbout time. He should have been replaced a while back.

Nothing has changed in the last season that I can tell...time for a change. Not just behind the bench, but some of those guys need to move on.\r\n\r\nI also want to make a point of expressing my displeasure when the fan section were whistling and making a fuss when Kink was given a penalty after he ran into the Ingolstadt goalie. The goalie could have been seriously injured. Chances are he didn't intend to run into him hard enough, although sometimes it's hard to tell, for his mask to come off but he did. I'm actually a little surprised it was only a 2 minute penalty and not more. Yes, it wasn't great that Mannheim was in a 5 on 3 Penalty Kill situation...Kink or the rest of the team didn't seem surprised by it so suck it up and stop your whining about every little thing.

I can no say anything about the Kink penalty, Leonie had my attention during that moment. \r\nWelcome back William I was going to start blaming the refs just to get you back ;-)

Kreis has done all he can do. We thank him for bringing the Adler back to a team that can win, however, he cannot get that last step to the trophy. Lost in the finals, then first overall for the season only to lose to the last seed in the first round. Who did management say was at fault? The players. WOW. Anyway, hopefully Teal now sees what the problem is and does something about it. BEFORE the Adler spiral back down to a point of no return.

\r\n\r\nBlaming some players would at least have been comprehensible in some way. Sorry to disappoint you, but as far as I remember, behind the scenes they blamed their fitness coach. And -according to a statement on their website- the hurting legs from the preceding game.\r\n\r\nTeal is part of the problem, in my opinion - and not the one to solve it. The whole organization just seems like a big circle of friends where nobody wants to hurt each other's feelings and where everybody tries to duck their own head and shove responsibility around. Cronyism at its best.

I think Teal is getting the blame for things that are still under Kuhl's control.

Don, I am going by last years press release from the team that had Teal blame the players ONLY. He said Kreis was great and the problem was only with the players. Or am I not understanding you correctly? \r\nIn MHO , it is time for a change starting at the top.

Robert\r\n\r\nif you get rid of Fowler and Kuhl is the one making the decisions then you have accomplished nothing because Kuhl will still be making the decisions. If you get rid of Kuhl (which is not going to happen) then Fowler would get a chance to really make the decisions. Then it would truly be his fault.

like I said if Kuhl is making the decisions then Fowler has no responsibility. If Kuhl does not give him any responsibility then you can not hold him responsible. Or is it you just do not like Fowler so it does not matter if he as at fault or not?

I do not think you have any idea on what he is capable or not capable of doing. If the people above him are shutting him down and not letting him make the decisions then you could not possibly know what he wants to do or not do.\r\nIf Hopp and Kuhl tell him that this or that is going to happen what choice does he have in the matter, OH RIGHT NONE. You can fire Fowler pick up the best Manager in the NHL, KHL, DEL or who the hell cares from where. If the people above him do not let him do his job he will not do any better than Fowler it is impossible. I say let Fowler do his job and the two big wigs stay out of it, then if he is not doing his job fine you can fire him but until given the chance to do his job don't blame him.\r\n\r\nI do not thinik it is Fowler's ego you are talking about in your post as much as it is yours..........
